  • Hot Dogs and Human Remains
    May 15 2026

We officially entered our video era, which means for the first time ever, you can physically watch us spiral in real time. The chaos kicked off with the story of someone putting ashes into a bowling ball, because apparently memorial jewelry was simply not committed enough. Did we do extensive research? Absolutely not. Did we immediately form strong opinions anyway? Of course.

From there, things somehow escalated into stories about people spreading ashes at professional sporting events, which led to the very important debate of when a heartfelt tribute crosses the line into “security is escorting you out.” Respectful memorial or airborne biohazard? The answer may depend on wind speed.

Naturally, the conversation then took a sharp and deeply unnecessary turn into discussing the exact moment it becomes socially unacceptable to take a bite of food while someone is trauma dumping or delivering piping hot gossip. Is maintaining eye contact while chewing supportive? Criminal? Society may never recover from this debate.

We also played a round of Flame It or Frame It, where questionable ideas, questionable behavior, and probably questionable morals were all put on trial.

It’s unserious. It’s judgmental. It’s somehow about grief and snack timing. And now, unfortunately for everyone involved, it’s all on video.

  • Gushers, Tamagotchis, and Tattooing Cremains
    Jun 5 2025
In this episode of Does This Make My Ash Look Big?, we’re diving deep into two things that leave a lasting impression—90s nostalgia and permanent body art made from cremains. We talk about the rising trend of tattooing a loved one’s ashes into your skin. Is it beautiful, creepy, or both? You decide. Then we switch gears to talk about all the things from the 90s and early 2000s we miss; can we incorporate ashes into any of it? From Gushers and Tamagotchis to Lisa Frank folders and the trauma of dial-up internet, we reminisce about the weird, wonderful world of growing up in the 90s. Grab your scrunchies, change your Game Boy batteries, and prepare for some inked-up afterlife realness.

    Feb 6 2025

In this episode, we explore cremation, organ donation, and the outdoor activities we all pretend to enjoy. We break down facts about organ donation, ask a burning question about cremation, and dive into all the so-called "fun" outdoor activities that are only tolerable when alcohol is involved.

As always, stick around until the end for our unanswerable question of the week!

  • Ashes, Science, and Seasonal Sadness
    Nov 6 2025
In the season two finale of Does This Make My Ash Look Big?, Bailey and Chelsea dive into the science behind cremation; what actually happens when we’re turned to ash and why the process is both fascinating and oddly comforting. Special guests Nicko and Hannah join the conversation to share their unique post-mortem wishes, bringing their own mix of humor and heart to the topic. They also join for a fun game of Frame it or Flame it. The episode also drifts into a cozy (and slightly melancholy) chat about winter, how it’s equal parts beautiful and brutal, and the emotional whiplash that daylight savings brings. Wrapping up season two with laughter, reflection, and a touch of seasonal gloom, we promise to return refreshed and full of new ashes-to-ashes antics when season three premieres in January.

  • He Scattered Grandma's Ashes at Coachella.....Major Ick
    Jun 19 2025

We kick things off with ashes and authority, diving into where you definitely shouldn’t scatter cremains (no matter how good the view is). From Disney rides to protected lands, we talk about the strange, strict, and sometimes surprising rules around ash dumping. It’s educational… in a “please don’t get arrested” kind of way.

Continue listening for a break down of the red flags, green flags, and those beige flags that just leave you blinking. And just when you thought we couldn’t get more controversial, we tackle indoor meat cooking. Is it a culinary love language or a living room line-crossing? Fire up the stove (or don’t) and tune in.

  • We're Harvesting Brains and Cutting Our Arms Off
    Mar 27 2025

This week on Does This Make My Ash Look Big?, we chat about the harrowing brain harvesting operation in Bucksport, Maine, and why did it stop at brains?

Then, things take a dramatic turn as we discuss the very real possibility of losing our hands in a hostage situation. How would we adapt? Would we get cool bionic hands or just learn to work with stumps? How many friends would we lose? So many questions, so few answers.

And, of course, we couldn’t get through an episode without complaining about the actual modern-day hostage situation—TV subscription services. There are too many, they’re too expensive, and somehow we still can’t find anything to watch.

It’s chaotic, a little unhinged, and exactly the kind of morbid fun you’ve come to expect. Tune in and let us know—would you donate your brain, survive handless, or finally cancel that one streaming service you forgot about? situation. How would we adapt? • Running on Ash and Sass (feat. Morgan)
    Oct 16 2025
This week, Bailey’s not riding solo, Morgan jumps in as guest co-host while Chelsea takes a well earned vacation! Things get steamy as the duo talks about sending ashes on one last wild ride; straight through a steam train’s firebox and out the smokestack. Then it’s time for another fiery round of Flame It or Frame It, followed by Bailey manifesting her dream husband (because if you can launch ashes out of a train, you can manifest anything). Buckle up for laughs, chaos, and a little cosmic energy on this week’s ride.
