In this final episode of season 2, we look at what it means as disciples to walk daily in the Spirit. Paul writes about some very practical things that we can adopt into our daily lives, all while being led by the Spirit. This is not a formula for living, which is great because not all situations and people are the same. We can take the principles and commands we are given, and apply them to our lives by moment by moment dependence on the Holy Spirit. As we submit to Him, our lives will reflect the love of Jesus, and people will know we are his disciples. Let's dive in. God bless!

What does it mean to be filled with the Holy Spirit? What about the fruit of the Spirit? What about the gifts of the Spirit as Paul writes about? This may be the most polarizing subject for many Christians, but don't let what people have done ruin what God has for you. A pastor once said "God's not weird, people are". I think this is true. If God has something for me, I want it! Let's look at Paul's writings and experiences and see how the Holy Spirit is weaved throughout the Bible, and how He is available for all of us as Jesus promised. God bless!

As disciples we need to be all in. Not just followers, not just fans. We need to have a wholehearted resolve and passion to hear from, obey, and love Jesus. How's that going for you? In this episode we see how Paul handles conflict. It can seem spicy at times, but first we must always check ourselves to make sure we are not compromising God's word, and that we are doing everything in love. Will we be perfect? Probably not, but we should always seek these to things - no compromise, and love. This is a powerful example of how the Apostle Paul pressed on no matter the circumstances. Even when he was left for dead he got up and kept moving forward. His calling, task at hand, or mission, was not finished. He had to fully rely on God, and partner with God, while mustering up all his strength to get the job done. My prayer is that this motivates us to not give up, and press on toward the goal and calling God has for us. God bless!

Even dating back 2,000 years people were trying to water down the name, power, and history of Jesus. Paul addressed these heresies, and many of them are the same things we encounter today - they are more prevalent than you may think! When Paul met Jesus, his life radically changed. Change happens. We need to embrace the things that Jesus has for us - even when it means giving up things or ways of thinking that we thought were right. Paul had to unlearn many things he thought were true, and re-learn things as he was saved by, and now in a relationship with Jesus. His life was better, meaningful & had purpose. So can yours. I never said easy, as we'll see with Paul, but life with Jesus if fulfilling and should be satisfying, and we should be living in overflow. Let's dive in together. God Bless!
