On March 25th, 2025, The Senate Intelligence Committee called several people to testify before them regarding global threats to the United States. Tulsi Gabbard (Director of National Intelligence), Kash Patel (Director of the FBI), and John Ratcliffe (Director of CIA). During the hearing, not only were global threats discussed, but also a particular "Chat Group" on an app named Signal, which was apparently infiltrated (by invitation, allegedly) by the editor of the Atlantic, who picked the worst possible timing to release the information (because of course he did). We're gonna break this down for those of us who don't have the multiple hours to watch the whole thing, instead of 3 to 5 minute viral clips. Should inmates be allowed to sue Correctional Officers before exhausting all other options? Although complicated, the issue at hand before the Supreme Court really comes down to these basic arguments. On March 11th 2025 the US House had a floor debate regarding the Continuing Resolution to fund the Federal Government until the end of the fiscal year. The US Senate held their debate on March 14th, 2025. Both hearings will be presented here via timestamps. The entirety of both hearings is 16 hours!
