This is the premiere episode of the exciting new podcast "Is History Watching?" We are discussing the story of the destruction of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii. It was destroyed and buried by Mt. Vesuvius in the year 79CE. It left under the ash and pumice an almost pristine look at an ancient city and how its people lived. This is the first in the Roman series which will next jump into the story of the Famed 9th legion and end with the story of the Colosseum. Thanks for listening and enjoy!
