My family hadn't either until after we had already received our justice; but it would have made getting justice a lot easier for us. My Step-Mom, Michelle, was invited to speak at a fundraising event for Southwest Family Advocacy Center and to tour their center. She tells us the benefits that a center such as this one, can offer a victim of abuse.
