He is the host of the popular weekly Sly Guy Podcast, which attracts thousands of

listeners every week, and BBC’s Daddy What’s A Podcast?, which won a Silver IMRO

Award in 2025.

His television credits include BBC NI’s

Lesser Spooked Ulster, The Rave Lockdown, Big

Comic Energy, Late Licence, The Blame Game and Stand-Up from The Sunflower. He has

also featured regularly on Radio Ulster programmes such as The Connor Phillips Show and

Vinny and Cate, establishing himself as one of the standout voices of a new generation of

Northern Irish comedians.

In 2022, Dave co-wrote the Channel 4 Blap

William of Orangedale, which received

nominations for both an RTS NI Award and a Broadcast Digital Award. He was

subsequently shortlisted for the Debut Writer category at the New Voice Awards 2023.

As an actor, Dave has appeared in the acclaimed drama Malpractice and played fan

favourite Brendan Higgins in Blue Lights. He will next be seen in the upcoming action-
