Received news that Al passed away. Al was one of our original deer camp members, and a man who's name was a part of every deer story told. Al had a lifelong passion for hunting. Times when my dad was working, Al would take me under his wing, treating me with respect and teaching me so much about hunting and the outdoors. I'm very thankful for the amazing friendship and good times hunting we've had over the years. He will be missed. I was blessed to be at archery deer camp the past few years, and it felt good helping him get out to his deer blind and getting the text "I got one, need help tracking!" This fall, remember to have fun hunting. Enjoy and cherish the times outdoors and people you're with. Big antler deer will come and go, but the fun times and memories will last a lifetime.
