À propos de ce contenu audio
In this episode, we speak to Amanda Summons, a photographer and graphic designer who is passionate about colour and capturing people's stories, in particular women's stories. We talk about being a third culture kid and discover more about the places Amanda has lived which includes: Australia, New Zealand, USA, Thailand, Tanzania, France and UK, the joy of lamb and meringue, fluid accents, embracing points of difference, recognising the unique things from the places you find yourself, being seen and understood, and the importance of making and nurturing friendships across the world.
For listeners not familiar with Third Culture Kids or TCK terminology, these are people who were raised in a culture other than their parents' or the culture of their country of nationality, and have also lived in different environments during a significant part of their child development years.
