    • What to Do if You're Contacted by Police
      Mar 16 2024

Sometimes cops will reach out, even if no one’s under arrest. In this episode, we talk through what to do if police call you or show up at your door, and how to respond if they cross the line.

Editor’s note: A Feeney warrant may not have “Feeney” on it. However, it will specifically state that it allows police to enter a “dwelling-house” to arrest you. To authorize police to enter your home, that section of the warrant must be filled out. Some arrest warrants that are not Feeney warrants may use a form with a “dwelling-house” section attached without being completed.

2:46 - What info you might learn from police

8:53 - Some police tactics and how you might respond

11:58 - Search warrants, Feeney warrants and the limitations on police authority

      15:33 - Key takeaways
