Then, in response, “deinfluincing” videos started trending, where creators flipped the trend and pointed out the excessive and addictive nature of buying products off social media. We have a bit of a serious moment in this episode as we reflect on the role advertising plays in our usage of social media, and how it impacts our every day life.
