    In Luke 9:57–62, Jesus confronts would-be disciples with a piercing question: What does it really mean to follow Him? If salvation is by grace, is there still a cost? Jesus makes it unmistakably clear—following Him demands a willingness to lay down our comforts, reorder our priorities, and hold even our closest relationships with open hands.

    True discipleship is not casual; it calls for a total commitment to Christ above all else. Yet the hope of the gospel is this: we count the cost only because He counted and paid the ultimate cost first, giving His life to make us His own. In this sermon, we are invited to examine our hearts and embrace the costly, joyful, grace-driven call to follow Jesus wherever He leads.
