Episode 4 of Chthonic is with Hazel Carrie.

Hazel trained at the Place (1983 – 86) and has been living in Belgium since ‘91.

She teaches taiji chuan, the F. M. Alexander Technique and dance.

Over the years she has made many weird and wonderful performances in unusual situations; on the street, in squats, the occasional theatre...

Moved by nature, by people, by the wild, by beauty, by depth, by songs of spirit she continues to explore the internal worlds of the body in movement.

Anna has composed group pieces & 7 solos, which she has performed in France & in Europe.

Simone Atangana Bekono is a Dutch poet and novelist. She graduated from Creative Writing ArtEZin 2016 with a collection of poems and letters called hoe de eerste vonken zichtbaar waren (how the first sparks became visible), which was awarded the Poëziedebuutprijs aan Zee in 2018 and the Charlotte Köhler Stipendium in 2019. Her debut novel Confrontaties (2020) was nominated for the Libris Literatuurprijs and the Bronzen Uil Debuutprijs and won the Hebban Literatuurprijs and the Beste Boekvoor Jongeren Prijs.
