This morning I recieved word that a dear old friend, ministry leader, and mentor had passed away. So what you get today is very much in the moment. Today I just share a couple verses that the Lord brought to mind. While I do not feel it is appropriate to share names at this time, I would ask that you please pray for the wife, children, and grandchildren of my friend.

We all have intense seasons of hardship. Why is that? Who is to blame? Sometimes the answer is that no one is to blame. Sometimes our hardship is simply a tool being used by God go grow us and to display His glory. Today Jon briefly shares from John 9 and also shares a piece of how God used hardship to change his life.
