Catholic Answers apologist and author, Karlo Broussard, joins me for today's program. We discuss his new book "Purgatory Is For Real: Good News About The Afterlife For Those Who Aren't Perfect Yet". Karlo discusses what Purgatory is and is not, aspects of Purgatory in other religions, aspects within Protestantism, and evidence from the early church. Karlo gives us enlightening information about this often misunderstood doctrine of the church.

There is nothing new under the sun, the philosopher says; there is nothing new in this unfathomable ocean of the human condition that the 150 songs in the Book of Psalms don't address.

Typology is the study of how various things in the Old Testament prefigured what was later fulfilled in the New Testament. And these “things” we call types (from the Greek typos).
