  • #129 Rob Adams Cardboard Heroes
    Jan 5 2026

In this episode, Mark at the Mic sits down with his neighbor Rob Adams author of the newly released book "Cardboard Heroes." The book is a homage to a golden era of baseball card collecting when they were collected one card or one wax pack at a time. As a young baseball fan there was nothing more exciting than opening a new pack of baseball cards and slowly revealing who was included. Would there be a major star, a favorite Giants player or somebody you never heard of? As they say in baseball, "hope springs eternal." The next pack could be the pack. #burlingameitsasmalltown #burlingamehistoricalsociety #markatthemic #backbythursday #robadams #cardboardheroes
