  • Awaken Hope with Leisa Peterson on Money Empowerment
    Feb 22 2026

After all, you know it’s not just about money…Leisa shares...

After working on the relationship I had with myself for over 20 years and then bringing these discoveries back into my relationship with money, I came to realize how common it is for many of us to get confused about what it means to truly value ourselves.

More common than not, we believe our value comes from external sources like money, relationships, and beauty.

However, this isn’t really what causes true self-value. Instead it comes from inside and no amount of money, or success for that matter, is going to change it. Which is why you can have all the money in the world and still feel poor inside.

True freedom comes as a result of improving how you feel about yourself.

Many people lose out on money, time and opportunity every day because they don’t understand how to shift the inner narrative that impacts their their peace of mind.

My work is unique because it comes, from the essential knowledge in my core, from my intuition, and from my skills, which have been refined for more than two decades of practice, during which I’ve worked with thousands of clients from all over the world. I share my knowledge with those who value it and dedicate their time and energy to a greater purpose: that of knowing themselves.

My approach is not mystical, it is practical. I inspire people to overcome their limitations. I believe true self-realization should generate an impact on the material dimension because that is where change can be actualized and applied.

For many people, it isn’t until you go through this process that you achieve financial independence and economic freedom.

  • Awaken Hope PM Edition with Sarah Trop on Creating Peaceful Homes
    Feb 21 2026

    Meet Sarah Trop

Sarah started FunCycled in 2012 to share tips for redoing furniture and then sell the furniture. Since its start in 2012, FunCycled has grown from selling repurposed furniture to designing custom furniture orders like dining room tables, launching into interior design services, and kitchen cabinet repurposing.

We’re John and Sarah, and this is our story. Family is everything, and making time for both our business and each other always stands at the center of what we do. We love traveling, seeing beautiful places and exploring new adventures that inspire our work!

We’ve also been able to have once in a lifetime adventures like being on the Rachel Ray Show, winning on HGTV’s Flea Market Flip show, and winning BYU tv’s show Survivalist!!

We have two teens who help in the business and are the reason we started FunCycled. We wanted to have more time at home with them while they were little. They are our biggest blessings in life. Such a joy!

John has extensive woodworking skills from working in contracting and carpentry for 10 years; he knows how to create all the requests Sarah sends his way. As a family, we’re upcycling and rejuvenating homes, kitchens, and furniture on its way to the curb into something beautiful. We service much of New York state and are able to ship to other parts of the US.

We also bought a house in 2019 and have been repurposing it room by room! We call it our Repurposed Idea House and you can see some of the project we’ve been working on here.

  • Saving America
    Feb 21 2026

    Week In Review 2_21_26

    • Democrats have just revealed their true colors in grotesque fashion by opposing the SAVE Act – a bill that requires proof of citizenship and ID to vote.
    • The January jobs report just dropped, and I'm left scratching my head. Last month, ADP reported a dismal 22,000 new private sector jobs. But now, the Bureau of Labor Statistics is claiming a robust 130,000 gain! Who do we believe?
    • America's public schools are facing a monumental crisis, and a new report from the Reason Foundation just laid out the shocking truth. We're spending more money than ever, yet student outcomes are plummeting.
    • The recent kidnapping of Nancy Guthrie, mother of beloved Today host Savannah Guthrie, has sent shockwaves across the nation.
    • A horrific school shooting in a small British Columbia village has left a community shattered and raised urgent questions about mental health support for teens.
    • While the slaughter of Christians in Nigeria often makes headlines, a recent attack by Islamic terrorists highlights a brutal truth: moderate Muslims are also targets.
    • Mary Elizabeth Jackson (internationally bestselling author, podcaster, and advocate for special needs kids) joins me to chat about her work with Autism TN, her podcasts Writers Corner Live and Cover to Cover, and her tips on how to write a successful book.
    • It seems like every week, another major company is announcing mass closures. First Kroger, and now, even Wendy's is joining the trend, planning to shut down hundreds of its 6,000 locations!
    • Weekly, my newsfeeds are flooded with alarming reports from England, France, and Germany, detailing horrific crimes, often against young girls, with perpetrators frequently coming from specific backgrounds. It raises a critical question: Can Western culture survive?
    • GLP-1 drugs have been hailed as a miracle for obesity and type 2 diabetes, with prices dropping and pill forms on the horizon. But a shocking new study out of Australia is sounding the alarm: could these weight-loss wonders be contributing to a return of scurvy?
    • Is software code a “person” or “property?” The U.S. Treasury thought so when they sanctioned Tornado Cash, but a landmark appeals court ruling flipped the script.
    • The Department of Justice's new “interim final rule” for the Board of Immigration Appeals (the BIA) is a game-changer. Despite my tough stance on illegal immigration, I'm a fierce advocate for legal pathways, and this new rule (effective March 2026) will summarily dismiss many legitimate appeals, reducing deadlines from 30 days to a mere 10, eliminating full briefings, and dramatically lowering success rates for immigrants already vetted for criminal behavior. Is this truly about efficiency, or is it a 'hammer approach' denying legal immigrants their day in court?
    • David Baumblatt is a soldier turned government agent turned whistleblower and expat – and now, he’s not welcome back in the United States.
    • Another 90 days. The tariff truce with China is extended, but our dependence on Chinese goods continues. Time to put America First and buy American!
    • Disturbing reports of ICE agents & federal officers ambushed in Texas while enforcing immigration law. This violence against law enforcement is unacceptable and won't be tolerated.
