  • What you need to know about Alabama with my Besties | lessons I've learned at college 3
    May 5 2022

In this episode, I speak with three of my best friends (2 of whom are my roommates) about moving to college and our freshman year. We discuss loneliness, meeting people, and the dorm life. We give our list of things you should and should not bring to school! I hope you enjoy!

I am so thankful for meeting friends and making good memories with these three! We should've talked about our Spring Break trip, but that may be best for another episode!

  • My involvement at UA | lessons I've learned at college 2
    Apr 27 2022

This is episode 2 of my series all about lessons I've learned at college! In this episode, I discuss my involvement at The University of Alabama with clubs, organizations, and academics! I talk about having to balance academics and involvement, and how I have put into practice lessons I learned during high school. I also talk impostor syndrome and submitting creative work to the University.

It is so important to emphasize that balance is essential for you to run smoothly as a person. If anything becomes a "job" in college, then it is not for you! College is a time to experience different things, people, and cultures, and do not let anything hinder you from experiencing those things!

  • Health + Fitness | lessons I've learned at college 1
    Apr 16 2022

This is episode 1 of a four week series all about lessons I've learned at college! This first episode is really exciting because it is my current kick--health and fitness. I go through my journey over the past few years of discovering that my body does not like me eating certain foods. I also go through the struggles of working out when I don't have a typical athletic body.

It is so important to emphasize that we can have confidence in ourselves not because we have a certain body type or because we have a perfect diet and fitness schedule. We gain confidence in ourselves through Christ who has already bought us at a very important cost (timely considering it is Easter weekend). So, move your body because it is a gift we have been given, but remember that anything can become idolized, even if it is done with pure intentions.
