Wounds formed in the womb, pain layered throughout childhood, and loss that followed him into adulthood, Blake didn't have language for what he felt, only the ache that needed to be dulled. He leaned on multiple addictions that promised relief but instead delivered chains. His story didn't end in bondage though. In the middle of chaos, Jesus met him---not with condemnation, but compassion. What addiction tried to silence, Christ gently uncovered. What grief tried to bury, Christ resurrected. Step by step, surrender by surrender, he walked out of darkness and into freedom. Today, he stands on the other side with his beautiful wife Kendall (previous episode) and their family.
Their lives are living proof that Jesus can heal all wounds and use our pain for purpose!
