  • 065: The Real Reason Your Results Have Hit a Ceiling
    Jun 23 2026

If you have ever hit a plateau in your business, a point where growth stalled and effort kept going in but results stopped coming out at the same rate, this episode is going to reframe something important.

The answer most of us reach for first when we hit a ceiling is the wrong one. The real answer is both more confronting and far more hopeful. Once you understand what the ceiling is actually made of, you can do something about it.

In this episode I share what I have come to understand across nearly three decades of building businesses about why ceilings exist and what they are constructed from, the four components of a ceiling: belief, identity, fear, and environment, and how to identify which one is dominant for you. I share my own honest story of the ceilings I have hit and what actually shifted them, why environment is the single most underestimated factor in entrepreneurial performance, and the four things that actually break a ceiling, practically and sustainably.

This is the most personal episode of the series, and possibly the most useful.

  • 064: Why High Achievers Are Still Unhappy (And What Actually Changes It)
    Jun 16 2026

How much joy are you actually experiencing right now?

Not how much you are achieving, not how productive you have been this week or whether you are on track for your targets. Joy, the felt sense of being glad to be alive and doing what you are doing. How much of that is genuinely present in your days?

There is a pattern I keep observing in entrepreneurs at every level of success, one that almost nobody admits to out loud, and it is time to talk about it honestly.

In this episode I draw on my background in positive psychology to explore why so many high achievers are still unhappy despite what they have built, what the research actually says creates lasting wellbeing, why joy is a genuine competitive advantage, the five factors that have a durable, meaningful impact on wellbeing for entrepreneurs specifically, and what actually changes the experience, practically and immediately.

The five reflection questions from this episode are in the full article. Find the link below if you want to use them as a proper thinking exercise.

  • 063: The Proposal That Changed How I Think About My Business
    Jun 9 2026

This episode is more personal than most.

A few weeks ago I submitted a book proposal to the Hay House Writer's Workshop competition for a book called "Born To Be Brilliant: Stop Being The Reason The World Can't Hear You." Today I want to talk honestly about what that process taught me, not just about the book, but about my entire business.

Writing a book proposal, the kind that forces you to articulate with precision who you are, who you serve, what you are saying, and why you are the right person to say it, turns out to be one of the most clarifying exercises an entrepreneur can put themselves through. Whether or not they ever intend to write a book.

In this episode we cover why I am writing this book and what I want it to do in the world, what the Hay House proposal process actually involves and why it matters, the five questions the proposal forced me to answer about my business that changed everything, the courage it took to press submit, and what this experience has to do with the work you are doing in your business right now.

This is the episode for anyone who has something to say and keeps finding reasons not to say it.

  • 062: What Whole Performance Actually Means (And Why Your Business Depends On It)
    Jun 2 2026

If you've ever done everything right, the strategy, the systems, the coaching, the investment, and still found yourself bumping up against a ceiling you couldn't explain, this episode is going to reframe something important for you.

Most of us were taught to think about business performance in one dimension: results. When those results stall, we look outward at the market, the marketing, the offer. What almost nobody is talking about is the dimension that actually determines all of those things: the inner operating system of the person running the business.

This episode introduces Whole Performance™, a framework developed across nearly three decades of lived entrepreneurial experience that looks at every dimension of what it takes to build a business that works. Not just financially, but sustainably, joyfully, and in full alignment with who you actually are and the life you actually want.

We cover what Whole Performance™ actually is and why it matters more than any strategy, the seven dimensions of performance that most business education ignores, why your outer results are always a reflection of your inner operating system, and why this conversation is especially important right now.

If you've been searching for the missing piece, this might be it.

  • 061: AI Isn’t Replacing You, But It Is Replacing The Way You Work
    May 26 2026

This episode is not the AI conversation you’ve heard before.

It’s not about whether AI will take your job. It’s not a cheerleading session or a warning to stay away. It’s about a specific, very common mistake that business owners are making with AI right now that’s quietly eroding something they’ve worked years to build.

Every day I’m seeing content that reeks of AI. Sophisticated, polished, well-structured content that has completely lost the human behind it. And the reputational cost of that is real, gradual and often invisible until significant damage has already been done.

In this episode I talk about the three camps most business owners fall into right now and which one is actually the most dangerous, what’s really happening when your audience detects AI-written content even before they consciously identify it, why using an untrained LLM is the same as asking a stranger to write your diary, and what genuine human-plus-AI integration actually looks like in practice.

I also share an observation from something I saw this week that I think will land for a lot of you.

This is the honest conversation about AI that I think more people need to be having.

  • 060: You Become Who You Spend Time With, But No One Explains Why
    May 19 2026

You’ve heard the quote a hundred times. But nobody ever explains the science behind why it’s actually true, and once you understand it, the whole conversation changes.

In this episode I go into the neuroscience, behavioural research and psychology behind how the people around us genuinely shape who we become, from the mirror neurons firing in your brain as you observe others, to the emotional and behavioural contagion spreading between people below the level of conscious awareness, to the way standards and ambitions quietly recalibrate based on proximity.

I also explore something the motivational version of this quote never touches: why the same person can be a dominant, natural leader in one room and feel like a shadow of themselves in another, what the research says about personality and susceptibility to influence, and why understanding which kind of person you are, in which contexts, is one of the more valuable things you can know about yourself.

This one is genuinely interesting. I think you’ll want to listen twice.

  • 059: You’re Doing Everything Right… So Why Does It Still Feel Hard?
    May 12 2026

This episode is for the people who do everything right and still feel like they’re pushing water uphill.

If you’re someone who implements, follows through, shows up consistently and ticks every box, and yet the results still don’t quite match the effort, this conversation is going to land for you. Because the answer to that gap is almost never what people expect it to be.

In this episode I talk about the invisible friction that high achievers experience even when their strategy is sound, the difference between doing the right things and doing them from the right place, and why the energy underneath your action determines your results more than the action itself ever could. I also share something from my own experience of spending years pushing something into a shape that wasn’t quite mine, and the moment I understood what it actually means for the weight to get lighter even when the load stays the same.

This is one of the most important conversations I think a business owner can have with themselves right now, and it leads somewhere worth going.

  • 058: Why Your Business Isn't Making Money As Easily Right Now (And What To Do About It)
    May 5 2026

If business has felt harder recently, like the effort you're putting in isn't quite producing what it should, this episode is worth your time.

Something has genuinely shifted in the business landscape over the last couple of years. Buyer behaviour is different, trust takes longer to build, and the strategies that were working reliably not so long ago were designed for conditions that have since changed significantly. And yet most of the advice circulating right now is sending business owners in completely the wrong direction, towards more output, more pivoting, more of everything except the one thing that actually makes a difference.

In this episode I talk honestly about what has actually changed and why that's not a personal failure, the difference between adaptation and reinvention and why that distinction matters so much right now, the internal layer underneath the strategy that most business content never touches, and something from my own decade-long journey of searching for the answer in every external place before realising it had been inside me the whole time.

This isn't a doom and gloom conversation. It's an honest one. And I think if you've been sitting with that quiet feeling that it shouldn't feel this hard, it's going to land.
