    • Trials and Tribulations
      Feb 25 2025

Jeria & Jadah spend this week catching us up on Trump’s cuts to the National Park Service and National Forest Service, the gutting of the USDA 1890 Scholars Program, and his standoff with the Governor of Maine.

Then, they catch us up on the latest Trials & Tribulations in the press…That is, the resignation of one of Diddy’s attorneys, updates in the case against Luigi Mangione, and A$AP Rocky’s Not Guilty verdict.

With the layoffs, closings, and understaffing at our country’s National Parks, it’s more important than ever that we come together to show this administration that we value nature, wildlife, and conservation. This week, we’re asking that anyone able to make a contribution to the National Parks Conservation Association, which supports national parks through advocacy, education, partnerships, conservation, and new site development.

    • The Department of No Education
      Feb 19 2025

Another week of navigating American politics. In this episode, Jeria & Jadah break down how Trump’s latest moves are gutting education, the arts, and basic government functions, but don’t worry…Democrats are strongly urging him to stop!

From the Department of Education’s DEI purge to the end of “anti-woke” programming at the Kennedy Center, we’re unpacking the chaos and the consequences. With the rolling back of diversity, equity and inclusion, particularly in the education space, Black students having access to quality education is becoming progressively more difficult. That’s why we’re asking you to give to Teachers Like Me.

Teachers Like Me is on a mission to recruit, develop, and retain Black teachers, who play a vital role in shaping the lives of students and strengthening our communities. By investing in Teachers Like Me, you're not just supporting individual teachers - you're investing in the future of our children and communities.
