    Beloved. Paul starts with tenderness before the hardest instruction: never avenge yourselves. Romans 12:19 doesn't ask you to pretend the wrong didn't happen. It asks you to hand it over. Leave it to the wrath of God. Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord. Breathe through the word leave. Release. Open hands. Not yours to carry.
