Plans go south as Sarai and Abram take things into their own hands, instead of waiting on God's timing for his blessing. We are introduced to Hagar and Ishmael, and the world is changed due to man's choices and bad decisions. Follow God's and wait on his timing...patience true believers!

Whatever is going on in your life, know that God hears you, God sees you, and He is waiting for you.

God's covenant with Abram is made official, but resembles that of something even greater. Abram continues to ask God how this blessing will come to fruition when he is childless, and God responds and reminds Abram of God's previous commitment.

Do we trust God in all we do? We can trust him because God cares about all the little things in our lives, as well as the big ones. Take heart and know that God is with us.
