In this episode of the Steven Avery trial, we hear from two people. Katie Halbach, Teresa's sister and her story about jeans, and Ron Groffy who was one of the people involved in taking photos of Teresa's car shortly after it arrived at the lab.
And we've got some questions.
First, Katie says something about Teresa owning a pair of Daisy Fuentes jeans. You know, the same brand of rivets found in a burn barrel. That's a bit concerning. The thing is, Katie doesn't know much about these jeans, only that Teresa had a pair at some point in time.
Then we hear from Ron Groffy—he was called in on his day off to take photos of Teresa's car. Which would lead you to think that maybe the car had just arrived because he was the guy who took "before" pictures.
Before the evidence techs started rummaging through it, getting fingerprints, and so forth.
The problem though, the big problem, is that he said the driver's side door was unlocked when he arrived to take photos.
At the scene, a big deal was made about the car being locked. So what was it? Locked or unlocked?
Then we see what appears to be some kind of prints on the back wheel cover of the vehicle which didn't appear there before. What gives?
Next, we'll hear from Sherry Culhane, who tells us all about the forensic evidence that became central to the prosecution.
