Question: Is Dame Judi Dench an artwork? Discuss...

(Before we start, there are no trigger warnings for this episode, unless you count Musical Theatre, which I know some find traumatic!)

Welcome to Art Is Good For You! It's my new podcast spreading the message that making and experiencing art helps with healing and happiness, no matter who you are.

I'm Rachel Duffield, an inspirational art teacher and art life coach and the founder of Community Art Clubs CIC. It's my belief that even if art isn't up front and centre in your life, it can still have a big impact, sometimes in unexpected ways! So I'm inviting people from all walks of life - some arty, some not - to chat with me about the three pieces of art in their life that have turned out to me memorable, special or even life-saving.

My fifth guest is Dorothy Cooper, a funeral celebrant and also a GCSE English tutor, who makes a passionate case for the artforms of literature and the spoken word, and the restorative emotional impact they offer.

Please note: this was the first recording I made for this podcast series, and my editor did exceptionally well to make it listenable! He then showed me how to do it properly...

Thanks, Matt!
