It was a sunny morning in May. Archie woke up, itching to pray. He stretched his arms up high in the air. Deprived of hope, filled with despair. Passing minutes became hours. If only had had superpowers, then he could break through the wall and fly home...

'So we all agree then'? said Pete Brown, showing his worries with a deep frown. 'We'll take Archie back home tomorrow to end his and his parents' sorrow'.

Archie dreamed he was in his loft, wrapped in blankets warm and soft. With a woollen pillow under his head. Safe and secure in his own cosy bed. In his sleep he could almost taste the sweet donut with chocolate paste his mum often prepared before school – so delicious, it always made him drool!

Suddenly Archie heard a growl.

As if a wolfhound mean and foul was lurking right under his sheet, eager to devour his toes and feet.

Girl-ant recognized Archie's face. He saw it in her intrigued gaze. He expected her to give a shout, alarming all the ants at their workout. But to Archie's enormous surprise, she kept looking him in the eyes...

Swiftly, like a climbing squirrel, Archie followed the young girl. Trying his best not to be seen - by her, or any officer of the Queen. The girl turned right and entered a store. So incredibly huge, it had floors galore. Archie knew he would have to race, or sh'd be gone without a trace ...

Archie woke up from turning the key. A policeman appeared with some food. But then Archie discovered what was on it...

Through the blue sky little Archie flew. Higher than any ant he ever knew. Below him the dreaded Big Foot Land: plains of green, lakes and desert land. On the horizon a forest appeared; beautiful, majestic, yet slightly weird. The trees had no leaves, fruit or vines, but millions of needles like porcupines. As the sphere got closer, the tiny pins looked more like razo-sharp javelins. Archie held on to all he could grab, afraid of becoming an ant-kebab...
