Far too often as members of the church we focus only on following, but we also wants us to lead, and use our agency to do good of our own choice.

Sometimes as members of the church and followers of Jesus Christ, we feel that there is so much we need to do. That we have to constantly be doing service opportunities or serving in a responsibility or visiting someone. Between family home evenings scripture study callings ministering temples there’s just so much to do.
And it can feels so overwhelming at times.
But it’s not about doing more. It’s about doing the right things at the right time, and if we listen to the spirit, we can actually be more impactful on our words and world with less stress and less work than we are currently doing.

People often talk about Faith as a feeling, or just something that happens. You either have faith or you do not, but in my experience faith is much more than a feeling.

Faith is a Choice.

You have to choose faith when things get hard.

I got the opportunity this week to pass the Sacrament with my son who is now a Deacon, and it caused me to reflect on the blessing the Sacrament is in our lives.

Today we talk about Lehi's teachings in 2 Nephi about the eternal and necessary nature of Right and Wrong.

How do we stand up for the truth and yet still be a peace maker?

Many of us wait to teach out children difficult doctrines and principles until we think they are "ready", and when are they "ready"?

Generally when the world has already started to teach and influence them on the topic. Leaving us fighting an uphill battle.

We must be like Moroni and build up the fortifications before the enemy attacks.

I hear people all the time struggle with the balance between personal revelation and prophetic revelation. I just listen to everything the prophet says, so why should I need personal revelation? or I got my own revelation on it, so I don't really care what the prophets says.

Both of these are wrong!
