On today's Episode 5, we're back after an unexpected break (yes, it was unexpected for me too), however, while I've been gone I've been dealing with some technical/storage issues which delayed me a bit. Whilst dealing with that the majority of November, I've also spiritually been getting my affairs in order for what's to come as we wrap up this last month of the year 2024! Can't even believe that I'm saying the word "December" let alone being here lol. There have been some minor attacks on me emotionally (hence the title) and also in some areas of my fruit of the Spirit. My patience, my forbearance, and my self-control, to name a few specific ones. For the ladies and gentlemen who needed a reminder, we are not fighting against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, and rulers of the darkness of this world said in Ephesians 6:12! Be encouraged that whatever you're facing, you have brothers and sisters facing them alongside you too ♡✞

On today's Episode 4, a very hot and heavy episode we dive into as we make our way into THE very awaited "Election Day" of 2024 🇺🇸 Our two main candidates running for president this year both have very, VERY passionate supporters and advocates. However, as a Christian it's so important to approach everything (yes, even politics) with the the counsel and grace of the Holy Spirit. So I start off by a quick chit chat about how we can show up as Christians during this time, followed by a prayer for both Kamala Harris, Donald Trump, and every political official on your ballots today. May they all be covered and protected from violence/injustice, and may there be a peaceful transfer of power as the results slowly begin to roll in. Jesus is the ultimate leader and King over our lives, and may he be the primary influence in the life of our next President of the United States. We then continue and with the parable of the Prodigal Son told by Jesus in Luke 15:11 as we discuss the topic of judgment! ✞

On today's Episode 3, I'm so happy to welcome you all in once again with a quick intro and prayer to kickstart our last week in the month of October YAY!!! 🥳 We are officially three whole episodes into this podcast and I'm so blessed and grateful about that small, but mighty milestone! This week, we are taking a look into why the person you marry and the people you are friends with are SO important and key! On today's Episode 2, we start off with an introduction of sorts lol mentioning how I hope everyone gets to hear these podcasts on music streaming platforms soon (fingers crossed!), then we continue with a very needed prayer - the world is in a desperate need for God right now and all the prayers possible, especially as we end out this year of 2024! Next, we go into the heart of the episode by talking about how important "being" a son or a daughter is as Christian with Psalms 46:10, 1 Peter 5:8, and Phillipians 4:6-7. Then, we take a peek into one of the many, many reasons God can test his children and the purpose it serves him and us to pass this test in the story/book of Job.

On today's Episode 1, we introduce and welcome in all of our Above Loves, with a warm and humble summary about why I chose to start this podcast and a list about what this podcast is and what it isn't. Next, we got right into our morning prayer and invited the Holy Spirit to commune with us before we dove into the topics of the day. We talk about how I normally try to read scripture with my favorite question of "Why?", how to abandon the idea of perfectionism by looking into Genesis 1:31, the start of Jesus' ministry in Luke 4:14 and why he chose to start in the location he did, and from that, ways we can start adapting the mindset of God towards his children.
