Episode 12 - Pisces & the 12th House

The curtain falls. It's the finale and we've arrived at the last sign and house of the zodiac.  In so many ways both Pisces and the 12th house represent not only all that comes before them, but that transitional period before that which comes next.  So the next time you meet a Pisces Sun or a 12th house type, cut 'em a break.  They literally carry the world on their shoulders.  Fishes, shout out your birthdays below :)

Aquarius & the 11th House

And just like that, the penultimate sign and house of the zodiac. As transiting Saturn and Jupiter are both still touring Aquarius, this episode serves as a prescient reminder for all that’s to come. The future is here, and the focus concerns the individuals that make up a community, a society, a world. Welcome to the age of Aquarius. 

Oh, this is one of the sign/house combos that really helped me understand the nature of the oft misrepresented (and oft maligned) Capricorn in popular culture/experience.  Considering the sheer quantity of Cap that I have in my natal chart (and my ma & gma's charts), finding the 'light' of Capricorn was absolutely necessary for me.  Now, considering the position of the 10th house (and midheaven angle) at the top of the chart, at high noon, you can imagine my novice's mind surprise (and wonder) at the sheer amount of light capacity Capricorn holds.  Find out more about Cap's mystical side in today's episode (and be sure and share your caprine birthdays below!).

In modern astrology, Pluto rules Scorpio (Mars in traditional) and in so many ways, the ruler of the underworld describes characteristic traits of the 8th sign of the zodiac. It’s not uncommon to find the scorpion diving deep into the psyche, uncovering what lurks in the shadowy depths. We find similar themes in the inky magic of the 8th house. Sagittarius and the 9th House

Opposite the 3rd house of generalized education (think primary school), the 9th house is where we find specialization (college and beyond).
