On this episode of A Name for Jane we are talking all things health and wellness as Certified Holistic Health Coach Betsy Holzapfel shares her story.

"As a holistic health coach, I’ve had many struggles of my own. I hope that by sharing my story I will help others overcome their persona; obstacles. I faced many challenges in my personal battle with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), including a 30 lb. Weight gain prior to diagnosis and infertility. It was extremely taxing both mentally and physically. By learning how to use my diet as medicine and creating a healthy lifestyle that works for my body, I was able to control the disease and its symptoms. I learned a lot about myself and my relationships going through the process. I learned how to stay strong and overcome obstacles. I learned how important it is to have solid, healthy relationships. I learned so much about proper lifestyle habits, including good nutrition and exercise. I wanted to pass the knowledge that I gained through the process on to others, and the best way to do so was to become a Health Coach. In 2018, I received my Health Coaching Certification through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and I have been coaching ever since! In 2021, I was able to join forces with some Functional Medicine practitioners through a local opportunity, and this led to me starting Reboot Wellness in April of 2023! I understand the importance of having the proper support system, and I hope to guide and encourage others as they embark on their life changing journey to achieving personal wellness!" - Betsy Holzapfel
