      Tiko is a Canadian artist & activist born in Edmonton and currently based in Vancouver.

      Tiko was devoted to drawing as a child, and developed an interest in photography while growing up in Calgary. Although possessed by a powerful urge to create, his compassionate nature caused him to study biology in preparation for a degree in medicine, which he gained in 1977.

      Tiko shares his experiences living with HIV and his fight to gain access to life changing drugs that would eventually save his and so many others lives in Canada.

      Tiko also talks about how his passion for Art has evolved based on his own personal learnings and experiences and we are very delighted to share Tiko's amazing story.

      Gethin once described himself as a product of the system. His family was involved with social care from the day he was born as his mum was a care leaver, had learning difficulties and was a single parent with 4 children. In today’s language Gethin was born into a dysfunctional family. 

      Join Gethin Jones as he talks about his long journey away from a life in care and prison to setting up his own business and becoming a motivational speaker.

    • Leah Den Bok - Humanizing The Homeless

      Featuring on our very first Episode of 'A Leaders Mind' Podcast is Leah den Bok' 

      Leah  is a Fashion, Beauty and Portrait Photographer. Since 2015 , she has been traveling to cities throughout the world, such as Toronto, New York, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, and Brisbane, photographing people experiencing homelessness and recording their stories for her project Humanizing The Homeless.

      Leah's goals with this project are to humanize people experiencing homelessness and shine a spotlight on the problem of homelessness. The work from this project has been compiled in a book series entitled Nowhere to Call Home--Photographs and Stories of People Experiencing Homelessness. Leah donates 100% of the profits she makes from her books and exhibits of her work to local homeless shelters.
