It was placed on my heart to start a podcast in honor of my daughter, Tyeasha Starks. Tyeasha was murdered by her 1-year old son's paternal grandfather on February 20, 2023. NO arrests have been made nor talks of any charges at this time. However, I would love to put her story out there and to raise awareness of senseless killings with guns. Also, I will be talking about the many struggles our family have been experiencing while dealing with her passing and any other person that are dealing with a loss as well. While it will be primarily to focus on justice for my daughter, I would like to create an open space for other mothers or families in general that are going through a justice battle with the loss of their loved ones and to share their stories as well as words of encouragement every now and again. It would be a place to hopefully help others deal with grief as well. I am not much of a speaker; however, this situation has brought me out of my comfort zone in more ways than others.
