It’s the week before the 2023 Common People Dance Eisteddfod and the culmination of six months of intensive training is nearing its climactic peak.

It's in these final days before the Eisteddfod, where the only way out is through, that the Common People discover the stuff that they are made of.

Common People People Project was made in Magandjin / Meanjin, and recorded on the Country of the Turrbal, Yuggara, Bundjalung and Gubbi Gubbi peoples. We extend our deepest respect to the First Peoples, who have danced here since time immemorial.
