Some people have the ability to see trends forming before others can see them. Sam George is one of those people. Whether it was Socio-political and cultural trends or communications phenomenon, Sam has written books about what he has been able to see in advance of most other cultural observers. He was a co-author to a book written in 2005 titled “The Great Divide: Retro vs Metro America." It identified the very beginnings of what has become a culture war in the United States. His latest book is “I’ll Get Back to You: The Dyscommunication Crisis: Why Unreturned Messages Drive Us Crazy and What to Do About It.” We have a robust discussion about both books, and how technology has impacted our ability to genuinely communicate and connect with one another.
