Good morning. Maine. I'm DJ Huzz. Step outside right now and you're greeted by 42 degrees and a clear sky. but here's where it gets interesting. By this afternoon, we're talking mid-70s. That's a thirty-degree jump before dinner. In the next 24 hours. High pressure has parked itself over the Deep South. and it's doing two things: keeping us bone dry and funneling warm air straight into Alabama. but first, we've got to deal with some fog. Down along the coast and across southeastern Alabama, visibility is dropping fast. A Dense Fog Advisory runs until 9 A.M., with some spots seeing just a quarter mile. If you're driving early, slow down and flip on those low beams. Northern Alabama wakes up clear at 43 degrees. Full sun pushes you to 74 degrees this afternoon — perfect for opening windows or hitting the trails. Tonight, mostly clear skies keep you comfortable at 48 degrees. In Central alabama starts at 46 degrees. Same story, sunshine all day, warming you to 74 degrees. Tonight brings clear skies and a low near 49 degrees. Coastal Alabama deals with fog before 9 A.M. Once that burns off, expect mostly sunny skies and a high near 75 degrees. Fog rolls back in after 2 A.M. Tonight, with lows around 53 degrees. Sunday looks gorgeous statewide. Mostly sunny with highs in the mid-70s. Get outside if you can. Looking ahead. We stay dry and warm straight through Wednesday. Highs climb into the upper 70s, maybe touching 80 degrees by Thursday. Our next rain chance arrives late week, but nothing major expected. We're gaining over two minutes of daylight every single day now. Spring equinox is just two weeks out. and this weekend?
