Dave joins us today in his introductory episode and answers the question, “Why be compassionate?”, as he did with his life in adopting Anya.
He also gives us the low down on THE conversation and his perspective about it all. I was not aware of some of the thoughts he had until now!
An interesting point is that Dave was raised with men that served in World War II and really never considered thinking about underlying emotions about things, nor how he dealt with the traumatic fall out after horrific fires, as a firefighter. Listen for his tip to men who have adopted or find themselves dealing with some hard stuff.
