À propos de ce contenu audio
Perfectionism.
Most of us suffer from it. Especially if you are the type to be reading this post.
Heck, even most of those people that seem like they do everything half-assed, it's usually because they want it to be so perfect they get paralyzed, and do nothing.
In this episode, I talk about how perfection is impossible, so stop wasting so much time and effort in trying to reach it. If you strive for the "good," you can use that extra time and effort to do more good. This episode is as much for me as it is for you.
Episode Highlights:
- 01:01 - This Italian proverb, attributed to Voltaire, has been around for a long time!
- 04:40 - A story of how I need to be more like my son.
- 07:38 - Another example: The "imaginary" company that failed because of "perfection."
- 11:18 - Perfect doesn't really exist, and I explain why.
3 Key Points:
- Investing in perfection will ultimately slow down progress.
- Perfection is un-attainable.
- Get your "good" out there. If you don't get it out there, your "good" will never make it to those that need it.
