Gardening activities also have positive effects in people who are not or who has never experienced depression, since it can reduce stress and anxiety.

Gardening can be relaxing, but it can also give us a real sense of achievement, as well as boost in our confidence and in our self-steem. A garden is a place where our efforts can be rewarded.
