À propos de ce contenu audio

If you enjoyed the song, Tiddles did his Bit, head to our Season 2 Playlist to hear it and the rest of the Season 2 songs! This week on Ghost Bites, Mike and J.T. delve into a truly heartbreaking, and deeply strange, piece of World War II history: the British Pet Massacre. On the eve of the Blitz, a government pamphlet advising pet owners on what to do during air raids sparked a mass panic, leading to the euthanasia of over 750,000 cats and dogs. It was a tragedy born of hysteria and a misunderstanding, leaving a grim legacy of phantom paws and spectral meows. Join us as we explore the chilling, and entirely unnecessary, reality of this dark day and maybe just hug our pets a little tighter. Sources ● Campbell, C. (2013).
