    Description

Worthless is the single most important book young men and women can read before they attend college. While teachers, guidance counselors and even parents are afraid to tell you the truth in an effort to spare your feelings, Worthless delivers a blunt and real-world assessment about the economic realities and consequences of choosing various degrees with a necessary and tough fatherly love. Don't lie to yourself. And certainly don't waste four years of your youth and thousands of dollars in tuition on a worthless degree. Buy this audiobook and understand why it is important you choose the right major. The book itself could be the wisest investment you ever make.

    read before applying to college.

so Aaron discusses what to major in college.

he discusses the biosciences, business degrees and engineering degrees. he also mentions that there are bad STEM degrees, that one wants to avoid like biology and general business.

obviously do not major in the liberal arts.

so he recommends nursing, accounting, management information systems, any of the engineering degrees except environmental and aerospace and nuclear.

highly recommended for parents about to spend $50,000 on their children going to college for a worthless degree.

Aaron clarey a man of wisdom.

Absolutley filled to the brim with information any young man or man in his twenties should hear. If all adults were this honest the world would be a much better place.

    Essential for High School Students

There is a lot that can be said about this book, but it’s indeed great and straight to the point. Give this to your friends or high school children or even beginning college students! This book is not PC, but if it were it would be a pointless, mindless read. Think for yourself, and major in a worth while degree while you are at it. Don’t major in something people don’t want like Gender studies or Philosophy. You can do those things without a degree. Don’t throw yourself into indoctrination and debt instead of going into a trade. Be smart. Be worth it.

A wake up to reality with of priceless humor added

Love this book and thankfully didn't fall into the mousetrap that most of society has been cemented to. Thanks Aaron Clarey for the knowledge you bring and the humor you bring to make it refreshing. I would be honored to shake your hand and buy you a beer one day.

    Fantastic!

An impressive analysis of the benefits of STEM and the pitfalls of a WORTHLESS squishy social "science" degree.

    Enjoyed the book but..

I think this was a really good book and I enjoyed it for the most part. There were a few things that really made me cringe though. Saying that "most" teachers become teachers for selfish reasons and that they just want the 3 month vacation was ridiculous. I'm 21 and 90% of my teachers in my life have made an astounding impact on my life while teaching me so that part should have been omitted. You really want to plunge the aspiration for STEM degrees down our throats but the truth is people should major in what they're passionate about and if that happens to be a liberal arts degree, good for them. Some people, including myself, just hate math with a passion, so how can we find passion in something that requires something we aren't passionate about. This would lead you to do a job you don't like just for the money and where is the TRUE purpose in that? People should really focus on creating a business and working for themselves while doing a job you're passionate about until your business skyrockets. Don't major in a math/science degree that won't give you pleasure other than money. I enjoyed your narration nonetheless and really liked how you made it short by getting straight to your points.

    Societal Matrix

You know.. I know this Degree doesn't exist. I know when I put it in my Brain; the Matrix is telling my brain that it is worthwhile, and fulfilling. After nine years.. you know what I realize? Ignorance is bliss.
