    The Best of the Series

    This book was great! The series is one that seems to improve with each new addition, so I am really hoping there will be more to come! It kept me glued to it, unable to stop listening, and I enjoyed the return to Dean's hometown and the humor some of the hometown character's add to the story. Now I am certainly craving more!!

    This book really grabs you!!

    Dean Matheson has returned to Maple Valley, NH to attend a dear friend’s funeral…where he’s shot! Upon recovery, Dean and his new friend, former Colorado cop, Eva Valdez, are offered detective positions at Maple Valley PD. The first case is that of a teenager who has been found badly beaten. Is there a connection to the new community center? Then serial killer, and Dean’s former gf, Beth, escapes from the mental institution…surely she won’t stick around? A gruesome discovery…and Valdez is a suspect…sounds like deja vu. Can Dean catch a break and have a good ending?? Good wrap to this trilogy.
