Avis de l'équipe
Music critic and author Geoffrey Giuliano has written full-length biographies on some of the biggest names in rock 'n' roll: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Rod Stewart, and Pete Townsend. He has also recorded dozens of "Rock Documentaries", never shying away from negative material and personal opinions, a penchant that has earned him a somewhat controversial reputation.
In Uncle John's Band, Giuliano traces the lineage of the iconic California band and its evolution in rapid-fire prose, quoting from other biographers as well as playing vintage recordings and interviews. He even incorporates the official announcement of Jerry Garcia's shocking death in 1995 from a member of the Marin County Sherriff's Department.
