Description

While the two increasingly dehydrated and sleep-deprived boys are locking lips, they become a focal point in the lives of other teen boys dealing with languishing long-term relationships, coming out, navigating gender identity, and falling deeper into the digital rabbit hole of gay hookup sites - all while the kissing former couple tries to figure out their own feelings for each other. This follow-up to the best-selling Every Day showcases David's trademark sharp-witted, warm-hearted tales of teenage love, and serves as a perfect thematic bookend to David's YA debut and breakthrough, Boy Meets Boy, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2013.

Great performance, too much moral no story

Awesome performance from the author, which I really enjoyed.

However I didn't like the book itself, way too educational for my taste. It made feel there was a task to pack as many AIDS-remembrance into a book as possible, and while an army of dead comment all the happenings, these stories are ordinary, boring and feel unfinished. (I feel awful writing these thinking about the memory of the dead, sorry!)

Usually there's a story with or without a moral. Here I felt no story but tons of moral. Wasn't even sure if this book still meets the category of a novel. It just wasn't what I was looking for.

An emotional rollercoaster

I expected a lot of this book for various reason and I can only say: I was in no way disappointed. I fell in love with David Levithans voice and story and cried on more than One occasion over how true the told is and how painful it must be to experience it.
I would recommend it to pretty much everyone who is slighty interested in the whole idea of the book.
