Histoire
From the outside, the Delaneys appear to be an enviably contented family. Even after all these years, former tennis coaches Joy and Stan are still winning tournaments, and now that they've sold the family business they have all the time in the world to learn how to 'relax'. Their four adult children are busy living their own lives, and while it could be argued they never quite achieved their destinies, no-one ever says that out loud.

Histoire
In Truly Madly Guilty, Liane Moriarty takes on the foundations of our lives: marriage, sex, parenthood, and friendship. She shows how guilt can expose the fault lines in the most seemingly strong relationships, how what we don't say can be more powerful than what we do, and how sometimes it is the most innocent of moments that can do the greatest harm.

Description
The funny, heartwarming, and completely charming first novel from Liane Moriarty, the number one New York Times best-selling author of Nine Perfect Strangers and Big Little Lies.
Lyn, Cat, and Gemma Kettle, beautiful 33-year-old triplets, seem to attract attention everywhere they go. Together, laughter, drama, and mayhem follow them, but apart, each is dealing with her own share of ups and downs. Lyn has organized her life into one big checklist, Cat has just learned a startling secret about her marriage, and Gemma, who bolts every time a relationship hits the six-month mark, holds out hope for lasting love.
In this wise, witty, and hilarious novel, we follow the Kettle sisters through their tumultuous 33rd year as they deal with sibling rivalry and secrets, revelations and relationships, unfaithful husbands and unthinkable decisions, and the fabulous, frustrating life of forever being part of a trio.

Can’t listen due to narrator
This review is not for the book or author, since I adore all the books ms moriarty writes. I could not get past the narrator they used for this book. So I will be getting it from my library to read. I wish they would have used Caroline Lee as narrator

So difficult to follow along
Not sure what the printed version of this book looks like but the narrator here changes character almost mid sentence (all character voices are pretty similar) so it makes it difficult to follow along. And by the time you figure out which character you are listening to the voice flips again. I'm a big Liane Moriarty fan but this audible performance is a thumbs down for me.

So hard to follow
I really love Lianne Moriarty’s books and was excited for this new one, but the narrator makes it so hard to tell who is speaking. It’s very frustrating. I’m several chapters in, and I’m trying to hold out hope because I really want to like this one, but I’m afraid I may have to give up and try the printed version. So far the storyline seems pretty interesting.

Horrible narrator.
I tried to listen to this but gave up at Chapter 7. I strongly disliked the narrator and I think her reading negatively skewed the book for me. I will make sure I never listen to a book with this reader again.

Not up to Moriarty’s usual fabulous audiobooks - narration grating
Disappointed... while the story line had moments of brilliance, the narrator’s dull voice was distracting and made it difficult to really experience the characters. Perhaps i would have enjoyed the book more in print.

Brilliant author. Poor performance
As much as I love L M's stories, this naration forces me to abandon this audio book. May be, my brain is lazy, but it seems that the narrator did not make any effort to distinguish between characters, story threads, and timelines. Hard to navigate.

Horrible narration
Who approved this narration? I was so excited for Liane Moriarty’s next book and was hoping Caroline Lee would be chosen for narration as they make an incredible duo with Lee elevating the prose. Wilds performance is so awful I cannot get into the story at all and even after forcing myself to concentrate on the prose, I found myself thinking, did Moriarty write this? It is lacking the humor and character identification I had grown to love in her previous books. This book is a huge Audible disappointment.

Loved it!
Absolutely loved it! Every time I listen to one of her books I think, “This one is my favorite!” Then I listen to the next one and think the same thing.
The story was as excellent as usual. Liane Moriarty has an incredible skill in capturing human emotion and people in general. I love that none of her characters is flat. She does a great job of fleshing the characters out and makes them feel like real people.
The narrator did a fantastic job. Her voices were well done. She did a good job of making it easy to distinguish between the different characters.
My only problem with the book is that it wasn’t long enough and I finished it in no time! It was such a good story.
