P.I. Hannah isn't exactly keen when she hears that her old high school nemesis turned actress is returning to Blairstown to film a documentary about her life. While most of the town is enamored with Jacklyn Waters, Hannah has seen her true colors.
Jacklyn decides to host a party at Colin, Hannah’s boyfriend’s restaurant. A night that should’ve celebrated a successful TV show and documentary turns into a somber affair when Ted Burke the creator of Jacklyn’s hit TV show is murdered.
The main suspect is none other than Jacklyn. While Hannah doesn’t believe Jacklyn’s a nice person she doesn’t really believe she’s a murderer. Hannah is determined to discover the truth and she isn’t lacking in suspects.
