The little story with a big message. A shepherd discovers his lamb is missing from the flock. He sets off to find him and bring him back to the fold. Is one lamb worth risking your life? The shepherd believes, "Yes , every sheep is worthy of my love. "It's a story of community, love, and sacrifice. In a world of increasing distance and chaos, our youngest children (and their families) need this type of message now more than ever. It's a story of adventure. Children will embark on an adventure to Israel, discover the landscape, and count Jacob sheep. These sheep can be traced all the way back to the book of Genesis. It's a story of rhyming and counting. Children will learn math and early literacy concepts by helping count the shepherd's sheep throughout this singsong rhyme and applying problem-solving skills.
