During my lifetime, I have observed that many people from every walk of life fail to grasp the essence of reality. I have seen people leading a lifestyle with no sense of direction and consistently employing the same way of dealing with different situations, regardless of the lessons that their past experiences have taught them. They don't put up a fight against the challenges. Many people seem to just accept things for what they are, and they barely make any effort to try to change their lives for the better. It is not unusual to see people blame their external environment for who they are rather than having an internal locus of control, which means having control of their own life.
