The Bible says “And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man” Luke 17:26 NN. Prophecy predicts that things will get much worse. “At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one who is found written in the book.” Daniel 12:1. NKJV.

Who are those that are “written in the book”; those called the “sons of your people”? What are the characteristics of those people who will be delivered out of the Time of Trouble such as never was? Our book explores historical events, Bible examples, Jesus’ parables, and various aspects of the end times, in an attempt to identify key ways to spiritually prepare for the Time of Trouble. Each chapter ends with the key take-aways from that chapter, while the last chapter “Be Ready” combines all these key points as a collection.

The book Country Living by Ellen White states "The work of the people of God is to prepare for the events of the future, which will soon come upon them with blinding force." CL 10.3.
