Matthieu Ricard, a Buddhist monk who trained as a cellular biologist before he left France to become a student of Buddhism in the Himalayas; Antoine Lutz, a research scientist at the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research; and Richard J. Narration so bad subject matter is destroyed

Would you try another book from the authors and/or Mark Moran?

I would keep away from Mark Moran - he sounds like he's talking to five year olds, and his parsing shows he hasn't given a moment's thought to what it is he is reading e.g. "...both at the Max [pause] Plank Institute"

Would you ever listen to anything by the authors again?

Based on this reading - no. I bought the audio version of "The emotional life of your brain" by Richard J. Davidson together with this article. The book has a different narrator. I haven't started it yet. If it's half as bad as this I'll return it.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Mark Moran?

An intelligent person educated in science, who cares about the subject matter, understands it and treats the listeners as intelligent people.

Any additional comments?

I googled for - and found - a pdf of the article. It has excellent illustration. If you can read - get the article. A pdf of the illustrations that appear in the article should accompany the Audible download.
