Words can’t do it justice!!
WOW, I don’t have the words to do this book any justice. It was absolutely amazing. Characters spot on, relationships perfect. The story completely consumed me, I couldn’t have stopped listening to this book if I wanted to. I was entranced with it. When I wasn’t listening to it, I was thinking about it. I highly recommend it!! I’m onto the next book there are 6 books in this series.

Would like me some Asher, please!
Love the humor between everyone and the chemistry is off the charts with Asher and Eve! I will say that I hated Gage and I seriously do not understand why a few of the reviews I read were enthralled with him! The author just tried to cause some friction between Asher and Eve and started to make it seemed like she had the hots for him and if it wasn't that Eve was so in love with Asher I would probably not have finished the series. All that said....she remained faithful and so did Asher so I was happy. Detest love triangles!! The 3rd book leaves with a cliffhanger so be forewarned.

Entertain Suspenseful - Main Character Irritating
I almost did not continue after book 3 due to the main character. I read/listened to book 4 to figure out Asher's fate. I will finish book 5 just to see Asher get his happy ending and to have Eve proved wrong. I am over Eves immaturity, insecurity, and lack of faith/trust. Eve character showed some growth in this book, however, Eve still dropped the ball due to her fears, lack of trust, and lusting after Asher. I love steaming romance novels. This book is the first where it just not balanced well. It always tunnel vision of lust before doing something or activity. There been several moments where I have yelled at Eve for her stupidity and immaturity. Couple of times I had to put the book down. Was so happy when kenna broke Eve's nose.
Props to the author for creating a emotional reaction to the characters. I like that the author kept the same characters and story through the series. Several romance novel focus on one couple at a time while progressing the plot.
I wish this series was written from Ashers point of view or combinations of Ashers and Eve. I want to know more about Asher and understand his point of view. All I have to work with is picking out the pieces between the lust driven actions.
-Spoiler below-
My least favorite part that I wanted to slap Eve: When Eve gets taken to the demon lord to offer herself for her mother, she was warned by Gage to not speak. She did not heed the order at all. Once or twice fine - could help the story develop. But she repetitively kept talking. Then insulted an upper level demon and became mouthy with her protector Gage. My opinion this was over kill and caused me to seriously dislike the main character. After three books and the information in them, Eve should have more sense than what was written.

Traitor revealed
This book was better than books 2 & 3. But it still has some annoying parts. They took 8 freaking hours dragging out was the traitor. It was a waste of time. The book got better in the aspect that she stopped describing him every time they came in contact with each other. Eve also was a bit more active in her training. I would have liked to see her develop more without Asher and the clan coming to get her hours after she left but then that would actually mean they could function without each other for more than 24 hours. I have one more book to go, I can honestly say that I'm happy to be at the end.

More surprises!
This is my favorite paranormal series thus far. I've never listened to Randi Cooley Wilson but this series just won't let me go.
Yes the main heroine, Eve is 18 years old and thinks like an 18 year old but the story line more than makes up for her hair brain decisions. Eve falls in love with Asher, and yes he's an alpha egocentric lovable kinda guy,
The only thing I had a hard time with in the series is when Eve over hears things and Asher and his family have "expert hearing" but yet they never seem to hear Eve when she's eavesdropping. I sympathize with her eavesdropping behavior because so many of her life decisions are being made about her...to her,...yet she's not included in any of the decision making.
I also have a huge soft space in my heart for lovable gargoyles. As for the narration, Jorjeana Marie does a wonderful job at narrating each character with attitude and empathy. Sometimes I found that her Irish accent for one character bled over into another characters voice, but she's very clear and easy to understand.
Either way I can't seem to put this series down! Fair warning - cliff hanger.
