    Avis de l'équipe

Based on the thrilling real-life experience of a combat-hardened soldier and commander, Leadership and Training for the Fight is a detailed and informative collection of advice, useful for anyone interested in better understanding the type of leadership required for combat and noncombat scenarios alike. Pete Larkin performs Howe's words with aplomb. Though this book is filled with valuable lessons, it is also packed with exciting firsthand accounts of combat. Larkin's distinguished voice acting relates the full gravity and danger of each of these moments.

Apart from the American propaganda, politically correct debate, and "ask not what your country can do for you" (nothing, apparently) the scenarios are very interesting and the keypoints to focus on to be a good leader ring true to me. How to train a recruit and how teams are formed are explained superficially yet give good advice and details I didn't think of. It's definitely more of a self-help book than learning and studying military leadership, but there's some of that there too. I wish he talked less about what he believed was wrong with his country politically correct environment and more on how to deal with different types of subordinates.

Good tidbits here and there, too much American propaganda for my taste
